Choose a suitable series The same work can be entered into more than one series. The series are: 1. Identity 2. Advertisements 3. Publications 4. Campaigns 5. Experience 6. Image 7. Film 8. Design 9. Young Creatives 10. Strategy 11. Text 12. Outdoor 13. Sound 14. Wildcard 2. Log in to the www.vuodenhuiput.fi site We recommend using Chrome. Participating in the competition requires you to log in to the Vuoden Huiput website. Sign in here. Once you have logged in, you can form a group with other participants in your agency; within the group, you will all be able to see your competition entries, and cluster the fee. As a member of Grafia, you are entitled to participate in the competition with your freelance work at a reduced price. In order to receive the member-priced participation fee, you must confirm your membership before the first login to the Vuoden Huiput website. To confirm your membership, do the following: 1. Select “Kirjaudu sisään” in the top corner 2. Select “Luo tunnus” 3. Select “Vahvista jäsenyytesi” 4. Enter your valid username and password which you use on Grafia’s website 5. Create a new password to use on the vuodenhuiput.fi website 3. Enter a new work to the competition The entry form has five stages: complete them all. You will be able to continue editing the form information within the entry time until the work has been paid for. Remember to clearly mark all the different components of the work under Work components. The Work description section must be completed in Finnish and English. All other fields can be completed either in Finnish or English. We will request for more precise details of the creators for the shortlisted entries at a later date, so please keep hold of your login details. If your work includes files that exceed 30 MB, you should attach a download link: do not upload the file directly to the form. Please note that to ensure anonymity, the competition entries must not display the creator’s name. With each entry, attach 2-4 images both in hi-res and web resolutions. These images will be used in the yearbook and on our website, should the work succeed in the competition. Please note that kapa boards will be delivered for the judging. Only virtual materials and physical pieces from for example publications or packaging will serve the basis for judging. 4. Pay the registration fee by Jan 19th 11.59 pm You can either pay using your online banking codes or a credit card. 5. Submit the physical copy of the competition entry if needed Place the printed registration tag in an envelope and stick it on the reverse (one tag/work). Number the different components of the work (e.g. 1/3, 2/3, 3/3) and write down the registration number (e.g. 2023-12345) on the back of all the material. Write the name of the series and “Best of the Year” on the package. Deliver it to the address below. Please note that no kapa boards will be delivered. The winning entries will be asked for physical materials for the Vuoden Huiput 2021 exhibition separately. Please note! If the work is fully digital, you will not need to send the printed registration tag or other material: once the fee is paid, the work has been entered into the competition.
